TOT TOYS was born not in a boardroom, but on the floor of my living room — surrounded by activities that I used to craft for my curious little one who always kept on asking, "Mumma, what next?"
Like many parents, the lockdown made me pause and reflect. I wanted my child to have fun, yes — but not at the cost of being glued to screens all day. As an educator and creator, I had the tools to do just that.
For over a decade, I’ve been designing and conducting creative workshops for children. From storytelling and sensory play to early learning activities, I’ve spent 10+ years deeply involved in the world of childhood learning — understanding what sparks a child’s imagination, what keeps them engaged, and how play can truly shape their early years.
But here’s the truth — I didn’t utilise the power of playful learning while raising my firstborn, I often found myself caught up in routines and expectations. It was only during the lockdown, while parenting my second child, that I finally had the time to pause, reflect, and then something clicked! I began creating playful, meaningful activities at home — and those very ideas evolved into what you now know as TOT TOYS.
What began as a personal journey of crafting toys out of love and need has grown into a brand that reaches homes across India — helping other parents like me rediscover the power of screen free and mindful play.
